We arrived in Sweden to full summer weather; the lilacs were already in full bloom and the temperature rose almost to 30 degrees – it was early May!

The week with He’s mother allowed us to recover from jet lag and help her prepare for her move in mid-June. As per tradition, I accompanied my mother & sister-in-law to a “jumping” class at Friskis och Svettis (Health and Sweaty). I sure felt healtlyh and sweaty at the end of the workout!

Another tradition, is going to Kåseberga for herring sandwiches. This was also He’s request for his birthday present back in March. It was a lovey sunny day, so we sat outside and enjoyed our beer and fried fish with the sounds of the ocean.

Once we finished our lunch we brought out the thermos of coffee and sugar buns for Fika. On the ride home we both had little naps.
