The season has shifted and Spring is making way for Summer. The Oranges of Sicily are no longer plentiful in the market, the new kid in town is the apricot. With glorious shades of pink and orange, that remind me of a sunset, this sweet little fruit is everywhere. Strawberries are still available, but they are the larger variety and the small field berries are no where to be found. We are also at the end of the very short cherry season; we had only just started to notice them.

Apricots are now in season, strawberries too. Notice the much smaller orange pile.
