Okay, sorry everyone for the delay in posting, but I have been sick. A lovely cold that has kept me down for the count since Saturday morning. Friday however was a big day here in Alghero with the start of the Giro d’Italia. Henrik and I went to watch the start in the centre of town and then made our way along the route to just below our apartment to watch them ride by. It was a lovely day and we enjoyed the energy of the people all around us. Link to YouTube Video.
That evening we enjoyed a stroll back downtown and ate pizza in a charming pizzeria right in the middle of the old town. Little did I know I would be down for the whole weekend. But, the weather cooperated and got cloudy so that I did not feel the urge to go out and explore… thank you universe.
